It's not the first time I've found them, but after picking dozens of them out of some shanks I was browning, I finally tossed them. I've only ever found them in deer shanks. How about yourself?
Burger but keep a couple pieces for roasts. I like to make roasts from pieces like the neck, shanks, or front legs. Sometimes laziness when butchering has me making more roasts.
I shot over max loaded 150 ttsx's out of my 300 wsm for a couple years and every deer I hit with them ran. There were a couple that would have been a difficult recovery if not for snow. I went back to lead bullets after this. There were 1 or 2 that I hit bone that were DOA.
For anyone following this I'm having some issues with the battery I linked above. For whatever reason it turns itself off or won't turn on at times with the vest plugged in. You to unplug and reconnect to get it to start working again. I'm likely going to return it and try a different one...
Here's what I bought. I think the key here is the 3.5 mm barrel connector. I'm guessing you'll need a newer type C changer that charges over 5 volts. Near record highs here again so won't get to try it for a few days yet. Does work though...
For those with the Pnuma it appears I found a larger battery that plugs directly to the current barrel connector. I have an extension cable coming tommarrow so I'll report back.
I wear a large t and the large vest is a little big on me in the upper chest and shoulders but a nice snug fit around the middle. If I could keep my belly at spring and summer size I would want a med. It's a long large as well.
Got a sit in the bibs the other morning. Low 30's so I wore only a light pair of pants under them to test them out. They're really nice and I have no concerns about nois, but unfortunately they have the same problems as the Incinerator. Like the Incinerator bibs, these have no insulation in the...
It's designed to be against your skin as a baselayer but being not so easy to wash I use a layer under it. My plan is to wire in a larger battery with a wire that's long enough to put the battery in the cargo pocket of my pants. That way I can swap batteries by unzipping the leg of my insulated...
Pnuma here for around 3 years now and I love it. I wear it over a light Merino baselayer and layer over it as needed. On my short afternoon sits Illgoout with little on and rely on it mostly. My only wish is it had a bigger battery.
