    What would it take?

100% agree with 7mm-08. I've had great experiences with NR/Res and bad experiences with NR/Res. I always treat everyone as respectfully as possible and hope it's reciprocated, most of the time it is, in my experiences.

Pics of animals you weren't hunting

Was out on a spring Bear hunt and heard some movement behind me while I was glassing. Turned around and saw this guy walking around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for good cartridge and budget rifle for 14 y/o

This would be my vote. My son has been shooting a 6.5cm (Savage 110) that I got for him since he was 9, with no problems whatsoever. IMO it would meet and exceed all of your criteria.

    Child carrying packs.

2nd that. I bought one off of Amazon (can't remember the brand) and took it off of its frame and rigged it into my Exo frame. It worked great.

6.5 CM copper bullet choice lite and fast or heavy

I've had good luck with Nosler E-tips (120gr), not saying anything against other monos, just haven't had a lot of personal experience with them.

RS photogs - where is your work?

I’ve got a Flickr as well that I update fairly regularly, although I’m new to the photography world. https://flickr.com/photos/198128894@N08 I agree, you’ve got some fantastic work in your portfolio Craig, following. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    30-06 vs 300 weatherby mag.

I would second the 6.5cm or 308 vote for a plinking, longer range rifle. Even cheaper if you reload, or at least it used to be when you could find powder for a decent price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Idaho NR Draw Bill… thoughts?

Sounds better than the current December 1st fiasco. I’m a res, but have family members that are NR that have been screwed over a couple times with the online system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Go-To Lens in hunting pack

I used to carry an 18-140mm, but recently switched to a 35mm prime. It saves weight and the 35mm is great if I want to shoot video. Not to mention its a faster lens which works great in low light situations.

    Motorcycle Hunting

I used a TTR-230 last year to head up some single track. Worked great, bike had plenty of even power going up some steep country and handled well and I'm a pretty big guy (6' 4" 250lbs). Would definitely come in handy on trails open to two wheels but closed to 4.
