    Tikka aftermarket stock

I second that - I really like the Wildcat stock as well. Stuart was super easy to work with and I found him to be very knowledgeable and straight forward. He had some great advice on bedding techniques that work best for his stocks. The only wrinkle I encountered was that I had to get ATF...

    Best scope under $1000

I second the Zeiss V4 in that price range. I've been really happy with mine - scope holds zero (even after being flown all over the place on the rifle, knocked around in sXs, etc.). Zero stop is easy to set and logical. Brass threads in the turrets, crisp clicks, etc. For a hunting scope in...

    Fierce firearms

I had a similar experience. The only negative experience I've had is when I ordered the rifle and it took much longer than promised. As in approximately 7-8 months but in fairness to all parties it was just as businesses were reopening from the pandemic and Fierce claimed they had some supply...

    Your favorite sling.

Thanks I will check it out. I played around with several similar pierces of gear - from he Kifaru to slightly similar products from Exo and others. I even made my own out of leather, trying to get the rifle to ride the way I wanted, etc. So far none are perfect but maybe Gohunt solved the puzzle.

    Your favorite sling.

I’m on the Kifaru Gunbearer program as well. Although I’ve modified mine so that the rifle rides behind me rather than having the muzzle stick out from under my right armpit. I didn’t like the muzzle protruding when I’m glassing.

    Your favorite hunting knife?

Another fan of Dozier. The wait time is long but you may be able to find them through AG Russell, Nordic Knives, etc. They seem to have the D2 heat treating down to a science because based on my experience they hold an edge longer than most knives. I recently had to re sharpen one that was...

    Your favorite hunting knife?

AG Russell typically has a fairly decent inventory of popular Dozier knives in stock. They order in advance and keep a rotating inventory. I have purchased several Doziers from them for myself and as a gift. They are great to deal with and, as for the knives themselves, agree with what has...

    crispi

I have been wearing Crispi boots 2 years now. My feet are pretty banged up from years of running, military college, USMC, getting older, etc. and I have a bunion on each foot. I have found that Crispi boots are wider in the toe box than some of the other brands. No complaints at all - been...
