I've always been a Burris fan, but I bought three Fullfield II's from their store on Amazon earlier this year, and the ocular housing visibly wiggled on all three, so they were sent right back. Disappointment for sure. The Camera Land deal on the S1 3-9x40 is the best deal by far on a basic...
I ran a couple for a bit. The perfect physical size for a scope, IMO. What killed it for me was the way that the power selector is "knurled". Tons of traction for powering up, but there's nothing for turning it back down. It matters to me as stiff as Burris power change rings tend to be. If...
All of those are overkill for eastern woods hunting. Where do you hunt the most? Idaho or the eastern woods? Nightforce SHV 3-10 will do it all for under a grand. The various Trijicon Huron, Ascent, or Accupoint's in 3-9 or similar would also serve well.

I'm an all day sit when I can. Last weekend early muzzleloader, I spooked some walking in to the blind at 6 am and it was 40 degrees. By 11 it was almost 70 degrees, figured I was out of luck but I had a book and just sat tight. I shot does at 12:30, 2:30, and 4 pm. Not a buck in sight, and...
I haven't played with the 307 but I do have a brand new 700 SPS in .223 that I dropped in a B&C stock and put a Timney elite trigger in. I've run 18 different factory loads through from 50gr to 77gr, and it'll do under an inch with all of them except two, as long as I do my part. Funny enough...
Strelok Pro. But it's not available in the US anymore. It's a russian designer, so it's under sanctions by most of the free world due to the war in Ukraine. So much so that you have to have automatic updates turned off in phone settings or it will be automatically deleted during an update...
Not necessarily. I have several Bell and Carlson stocks, which are a composite of materials and they are no heavier than wood with the same style stock. They're all between 2 and 2..2 lbs. I've never had a walnut stock lighter than 2lbs on a centerfire bolt action, be it Remington...
Soooo..... a lifetime warranty ONLY means something when the company is in business. How long are they going to be in business? Supposedly, S&W stopped production of T/C because it wasn't profitable enough. It'll be interesting to see if going from a large company that has millions to invest...
It's the same thing with old Simmons scopes. In the last year, I had two Whitetail Classic 2.5-8 finally die, after 28+ years. Those things weren't cheap in the 90's, almost $200 each, which is nearly $400 in today's money. Bushnell sent me Banner 3-9's for both of them. Boxes just showed up...
I can tell you from firsthand experience that the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 3-9/4-12 sunshade will fit a Trijicon Accu-point 3-9. Don't know if it will fit a Credo.
