I have to agree here. I’m currently in this field of work and while it pays great, it’s hard to get significant time off work. When you do get time off, it seems like the phone never stops ringing anyways.

If you have the money, get a GoHunt insider account and spend some time researching your draw odds. The info on that website will help steer you in the right direction.
They assist with the draw. They offer two different hunt packages, one fully outfitted that includes lodging, meals and drinks and separate package that is a guide only service. Both are 5 day hunts.
Triple C rates are cheaper than that. The draw back is obviously having to apply and not being guaranteed a tag/hunt. However they boast relatively high draw odd’s through the guide draw.
I'm headed up in August to hunt the NBR with Arrowhead, been looking forward to it for a year and a half now. I too have my eye on a float trip hunt in the future. If you're able to locate multiple copies of that book I would love to snag one.
