Took this one with a 62 grain gold dot over TAC at 85 yards back in February.
This is the third deer taken cleanly with this combo for me.
Black and white pic is a still taken from a wireless video camera at the shot.

I’m generally a neck shooter myself but didn’t have a comfortable shot at the neck yesterday .
Rest assured, these nbt’s will work on standard vitals shots.
I bought this rifle for a donor action for a 358 Winchester build but decided since it was so accurate I needed to take a deer with it...
On a standard double lung shot I would expect a very short death run .
These bullets are tougher than the old ballistic tips so they aren’t fragmenting like the old thinner jackets did.
6.5 cm 120 ballistic tip hand load @ 100 yards.
Top of the lungs were liquified, broke a rib on entry, the spine, then a rib on exit.
The bullet did not fragment .
The deer was DRT upon impact .
I shot my first whitetail with a 6.5 cm yesterday and it really impressed me.
100 yard high lung /spine shot and she was DRT with a 120 ballistic tip.
Destroyed the lungs , broke a rib going in then the spine and a rib upon exit.
Would post a pic but not sure how those types of pics are...
