    WTB Weatherby Vanguard takeoff stock (Long action; First Lite?)

    Teasing the idea of swapping out the Hogue stock on my Howa 1500 for a Vanguard stock in First Lite camo. Open to other synthetics as well, just like the look of the First Lite stocks. Testing the waters to see what is out there in long action. Let me know what you have!

    If you're interested in sticking with a pump gun, a Remington 870 in either 12 or 20 gauge would be my vote. Simple, affordable, dependable, lots of aftermarket support. I don't have a ton of experience with many other pump guns however, so I may be a bit biased.

    I've had no issues with Midway myself, although I haven't ordered a ton from them. Always happy with their fast shipping and competitive prices. Have never had to contact customer service, however.

    $3.30 for 87 on Eastern Shore of Virginia. Dipped down near $3 a few weeks ago but has slowly creeped back up.
