    Older 700 triggers

    My first match gun (on a budget) used an 80's trigger that was tuned by my gunsmith and it was very nice and crisp. My next gun I used a Timney which I found to be about the same as the tuned 700. Surely opinions will vary.

    Read a story where a kid collected 72 "seashells" not realizing they were clams ( that were out of season and undersized) while playing on Pismo beach (California). Fish and wildlife came across the family and cited her. The fine was just shy of 89000 dollars😲

    Tuners’ how close is close enough? (People tuning for others)

    I paper tune as perfect as possible, then walk back tune, then shoot a broadhead at 50 yds. I've not had an issue with any bow using this method.

    Not a better idea for sure. Look at it this way; how many repairs (if even needed) can you do to the current ride for 10-15k? The 4.8/5.3 are easily sourced/replaced as is the 4L60. I had a 03 and parts were easily found.

    I shoot a PSE with Evolve cams and the mod screws kept coming loose. Blue Loctite solved that problem. Glad they're taking care of it👍🏻

    Broken Hoyt Bow

    Looks like a screw came loose and sheared off. The mod looks to have been scraping against the limb as you can see on the mod itself along with the limb splinters. Those screws have a tendency to loosen, and not just with Hoyt.
