7mm-08 not producing decent groups with Accubonds

In my Tikkas, R15 and CFE223 have given the best results with the 120TTSX. I use a mag primer with the CFE, BR2 with the R15. That said, has your rifle ever produced what you would consider a good/reasonable sized group? Some barrels are just duds.

Which of the classic calibers in .270, .30-06 or .308 if shooting solid copper only?

I would say if you don't reload, pick the caliber most readily available to you. Other than that, they'll all do what you ask of them.

    Which Trijicon scope?

I believe the reticles are the same.

    Which Trijicon scope?

Both are great scopes. I still have the 2.5-15, sold the 4-16 only because I wanted to lower the scope and it was the 50mm vs 42mm obj.

    A point in right direction

You're basically living in hog heaven. Unfortunately it's just about 100% private land. You usually have to "know a guy" that knows a property owner. There are guided hunts in the area if you're looking for that. Your other options are the fish and wildlife management areas. Not loaded with...

New to traditional archery. Bare shaft tuning

"Sometimes good" is usually a form issue. Your form has to be spot on and consistent shot to shot to achieve reliable bareshaft results. Short draw, probably stiff reading. Long draw, probably weak. Pluck it, who knows what you'll get. If you really want to see what the arrow is actually doing...

Do you keep your vehicle clean?

Generally yes, but not so much during hunting season/winter.

Most expensive thing you lost while hunting

I recently lost two Tikka mags. At 45 each it definitely stung a bit.

Did Something Stupid and Dangerous On My Bench Today

Close call. As long as you can resize the brass, I wouldn't sweat using it or the bullets.

    Carrying A Handgun At 19?

This may be of use to you.. https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/federal-ccw-law/federal-minimum-age-to-purchase-and-possess-handguns/ Federally it's legal. You'll need to check your state laws as well. Idaho is 18, not sure on MT but I'd be surprised if they weren't also 18 for...

No elk recovery, blame the broadhead?

Keep looking. Uphill, 66yds, actively raking, the shot probably wasn't as good as you guys think.

    Listen up Californians!

Also signed SB2 which places more restrictions on CCW. On a brighter note, Judge Benitez once again shot down the magazine ban as unconstitutional. 10 day stay so the state can appeal, which they have already done. Going back to the 9th so we'll see. Benitez attempted to make it as solid as...

Anyone have problems doing strict carnivore?

I tried it but just couldn't eat that much meat only. I can't do eggs unfortunately due to stomach issues. I ended up eating more like the Paleo style diet with some dairy. Cutting out "healthy" whole grains has really helped with digestion and skin issues. I aim for 170-200 grams of protein in...

Mtn Lion Ban Filed in Colorado

I keep saying it; none of these guys will give a f until the elimination of deer and elk hunting goes on the ballot. When it does watch and see all these fools and their "call to arms" pasted on every platform available.
