Eberlestock discontinued the F65 which to me was probably the best pack they made that on an F1 with the bolt action rifle scabbard between would be perfect
I have used the snugpak jungle bag with the liner to enhance the warmth and use both in conjunction to a snugpak artic bag for super extreme cold. When quilting it up though in my hammock I tend to rock the snugpak jungle blanket and have nothing but good to say about it.
It says one person but I'm 6'1 170 and my wife is 5'4 and we sleep in it comfortably together my friend kameron got one and at 6'5 285lbs he can still sleep in it comfortably as well I enjoy the rain fly because it adds an area to keep the pack inside and when one or two of the dogs are with me...
Havent weighed it but I've used a Catoma EBNS with wolverine ground cloth and rain fly for a lot of years and have no complaints at all as well as completely free standing system I would say the tent without ground cloth and rain fly is probably under 2 lbs. I've used mine all over the world...
F1 mainframe with a added compression strap kit is pretty hard to beat. I have an older badlands that I used to carry my girlfriend in on hikes for training for hunting season 120lbs for 7 miles and I felt fantastic I was also a lot younger and more motivated back then.
F1 mainframe has done extremely well for many of individuals with an almost endless pack compatibility system my personal favorite has and seems to continue to be no matter how many packs I continue to buy an F65 little big top.
I've run an F1 mainframe with the sniper weapon case and an F65 little big top topped with a phanny top pack for close to 10 years now hauled that setup all over the world and once out of the service all over the western United states carried a lot of meat and gear and never been upset with...
Personally I would get an F1 mainframe with an ebay find F65 little big top since eberlestock discontinued the pack back some years top it with a phanny top pack and throw either the sniper weapons case or the bolt action scabbard on add an extra set of compression straps and use the $12.00...
Custom takedown rifle from Randy's custom rifles chambered in 35 whelen with open sights and then add a steiner t6xi 2.5-15 to top it. Later on if the need is felt have another chambering done to add to the rifle and make it multi caliber down the road. No need for a suppressor or bipod just a...
We compared all of them with the illumination off and just adjusting the HUD down kept the reticle clean and clear for us like I said it was very nice to look through and we were definitely using it at times that I personally would not shoot an animal at and it gathered light very well so...
2.5-10 3-9 4-20 3-15 all work fine for those distances I think the most common assertion you will find is keep a lower low end with a high field of view when something is way out theres normally a lot longer of time to get set up when they are up close it sucks to miss out because you couldnt...
The glass is amazingly clear I would rate it as the same as the signature series and better than just about anything else I've seen of the price tag I have a Steiner m5xi and a t6xi and I would say the glass is just as good as the m5 it spends a large majority of it's time at the lower powers...
If the electronics ever go out that burris forever warranty is pretty awesome not that I see an issue with electronics for the first at least 10 years. If I have issues after this year I'll let you know but so far it's been flawless for me.
Have two of them one is set up with an f65 little big top and phanny top pack the other I add a grundens gage waterproof pack onto quite often I have no complaints at 6'1 and 165lbs the tall fit good and feels nice I've put a lot of miles on it over the years with lots of elevation change and...
Call up gators custom guns or even sportsmans warehouse and have them look for you you'll have to pay a transfer fee I'm sure but will still cost less than most other options out there. Otherwise I will say my best friend has a left hand savage 223 and it's a tack driver as well just he cant use...
