    What Scope Rings are you all using

    I had the same concern on my first stop. I lap my rings and ensure everything is cleaned out when mounting. Have had no issues with the factory cerakote talley rings and this setup.

    No issue with my x bolt in 6.5creed with 50mm scope and talley high rings or x bolt in 7mm rem mag with medium talley rings and 44mm scope.

    I use the talley in burnt bronze on my x bolt hells canyon, rifle is cerakote in burnt bronze so makes a nice combo and love the construction.

    I think this is why I like the buck gen5. I have the 3 inch version, dad picked it up at the factory about 10 years ago but fits my hands great and easy to maneuver. Just noticed it is discontinued.

    This one has heald up great for me. Dad picked it up at the factory 8 years ago. I have had other bucks that won't hold an edge but they were pocket knives.

    I use a morakniv for gutting and a Buck gen5 for skinning. Been a great combo for me.
