I'm using the proprietary rail and honestly that's part of the appeal for me. I really like both rifles I have and will absolutely be buying more. I'm not a big fan of the precision stock, but I'm a hunter not a range junkie so it's all good.
I don't like wearing gloves at all even when hunting no matter how cold it gets. If I must the thinner the better. When I'm breaking down an animal I'm not wearing them unless it's a wild pig.
I used to not worry about the shanks outside of canning venison, but started smoking them and boy are they good. I'm using the easy smoker in a PitBoss. I gnaw on them like a caveman.
In my opinion the s20's are very underrated guns. I have two with zero issues so far and both are extremely accurate. I'll probably wind up with a couple more before its said and done.
I have two of the Sako s20's with both sets of stocks for each. One in .300 Win Mag and another in 6.5PRC and both of them are tack drivers. The sling is on the other side of the .300 WM. I really like both guns.
Been on here a couple of months, figured I'd start posting.
Live in Western NC, but hunt in Kentucky, Alabama and my place in Wisconsin. I'm a gun fanatic, don't know how many I owned before the boating accident. Look forward to posting more often and getting to know folks.
I usually have three in my pack. I have an Outdoor Edge, Gerber Paraframe and a Gerber Prodigy. I have to be careful with the Ooutdoor Edge when I have new blades in it.
Drove by one in a ditch not long ago and thought it was dead. Glanced back in my rearview mirror and saw it kick a few times. I couldn't let it suffer so I turned around and did what needed done.
