I've been shooting 4 fletch for years, first with AAE Max Stealths and then with Q2i Fusion-X IIs. I'm switching to 3 fletch DCA Mini Sabres but a buddy of mine has been wanting to try something in 4 fletch...
I ended up buying both the Encounter and Axis pant. The Encounter in Valo for more stationary hunting, the Axis in Ash for more active hunting or during wetter weather.
I've been using the Stealth jacket and Nano Wool hoody. So far I like them.
The Stealth jacket is very warm but doesn't offer much wind resistance. It is very quiet though. I think it's a pretty decent active insulation piece but is probably better suited as a mid layer for colder weather...
Curious if anyone has used both and has a good comparison on warmth, quietness, versatility, etc. This is primarily for a whitetail system. I typically archery hunt from a saddle but go mobile during rifle season, so I try to stay away from heavyweight fleece systems which is why the lighter...
Probably not in this case. Mainly looking at this as a designated saddle pack. I liked the idea of having a pack that could pull double duty, but it's a tradeoff one way or the other. Ended up ordering the Treehouse 38.
