    did you check Oncaelastic pant? i used Kuiu before but after check this pant of ONCA i have clear is the best pant i never had. It is very comfortable, snagging and tear resistant and dry very fast.

    I think both of them are good fabrics, DWR lose effective if you wash your hunting clothing in wrong way. How many washed you did to your pants? usually good DWR should be keep min 50 washed.

    did you think in softshell jacket like other solution? i preffer a good softshell, i know weight is little big but not to much and work better like windstopper and water resistant.

    all technical hunting clothing should be wash before use to get the best results, sometimes yarm and fabrics has some waste that limit breathability. In Oncahuntingwear blog you can find post about this question.
