Sounds good, if it doesn't like this brand I'll reach out to some friends and get some sample packs of different brands. I liked your mention of a piece of inter tube, curious to try that if need be.

It's a 1:14 with a 24 inch barrel. Good ideas, thank you very much. I did go over all the screws in the beginning so I should be good there. Since I recently picked up some 50 grain bullets I figure I'll try a few tests with those to see how it reacts. Then switch the primers and if no luck...

Mystery Ranch rifle sling

I got the slik sling and used it this season. The issue I ran into was putting it on while wearing my pack, I couldn't get it back far enough where it wouldn't rub my shoulder. I moved the barrel strap further back on the pack but would need someone else to attach it for me since I couldn't...

Powder for 270 and Hammer Bullets

How did your loads work out using H4350 and hammer hunters? I was looking at testing the same in my 270. I've switched to hammer hunters for other rifles and loving the loads I developed. Using up the last of my Barnes before I make the switch for my 270. Got ok results with Barnes and H4350...

Mystery Ranch rifle sling

Is the mystery ranch rifle sling worth getting? I've been strapping it to the side of my Beartooth pack and debating purchasing the sling. I see it doesn't have the greatest reviews. Is there any other options?
