I'll try the washer. That's something I had never heard before.
Trigger job is not something I am worried about as I have worked on my old encore trigger group. Just surprised it would not come to full cock with out slipping.
I Just received my new TC encore. Can't tell any difference from the old. Have not shot it yet.
400.00 from Haus of arms, 480 with new tech stock. I will know more after I do a trigger job.
TC encore frame arrived today. This is the new version. Cost 400 and I cannot tell much difference from the old. An extra 80.00 gets you a new tech stock.
Hope to shoot it over the next couple days.
I just ordered a TC encore prohunter frame and stock from Hau of Arms. It's new production.
I would recommend TC strongly. There are many good muzel loaders on the market but l have been shooting my TC a very long time. None of the many issues I hear about on the forums occurred.
Only reason...
TSS is great shot. I have killed a couple slams with it and a bunch Easterns. I have been loading my own since before to Big name brands jumped on the wagon with all the fancy names.
I use #9 for turkey and #4 for coyote. No problems just don't over think it.
I'm shooting TC shockwaves. 200 grain.
I am not sure they are in production at the moment. I purchased a bulk lot once I heard TC was going out of business.
Hornedy makes a similar bullet in 200 grain, TSS I think. It's said the shockwave is made by Hornady. Should be able to find online. Good...
Opinions seem divided. I guess I fall in the regular category. I use Winchester brass, Federal and some RP brass but stay away from the premium brass. All my rifles are sub moa. As such my knowledge of the premium brass is limited.
However, if I can obtain the desired results from regular...
Hi,
Looking for some general load data on 220 swift. I have a Remington 700 Sendero that has been sitting in my safe for a long time. It is/was a tack driver with some reloads but record keeping is non existent. I would like to work up some new loads.
Looking at a max range of 400 yards...
I agree with the above posts. If I made a poor shot and the deer got away I would hope someone else got a chance at it. I mainly hunt in the East where there is pressure and unless on public public land parcels are smaller. Good shot placement is important for a quick kill. I suspect you have...
My bucket list was, bear, pronghorn, mule deer, Mountain lion, bobcat, turkeys and of course whitetail. I always wanted to hunt coyotes but we did not have any in the East but as soon as they showed up I killed a beautiful red one and dozens since. The above list is complete.
Still chasing Elk...
To bad you are afraid of the cost of BH. Best powder on the market not to mention currently the most expensive. It is easy to clean up and is great for accuracy, almost like smokeless powder. What many don't realize is that once zeroed one can can last up to three years and I shoot a lot of...
TC encore for reliability and accuracy. I'm a bit different than most as I use a light bullet of 200 grains in front of 100g of BH. My average shot is set up for 200 yards. I have killed to 250 easy and punched paper to 350 yards.
Great rifle with much after market support i.e. Bellums Tc and...
