    I have had the Garmin Instinct 2 Solar for about a year and a half. I have worn it everyday working on the farm, hunting, and working out and I’m very pleased. The battery lasts forever and it’s very durable.

    Guys that drive a long ways to hunt, what are your less common(but important) pieces of gear/tools you're sure to keep in the truck?

    Im in a similar situation and have a 4000 mile trip. We will keep a box with a Bubba rope w/ soft shackles, noco jump pack, tire plug kit, Dewalt tire inflator, small chain, basic hand tools. I also will have a chainsaw, shovel, gas can and a good spare tire.

    Probably gets asked a lot, what arrows?

    I have been shooting the Easton 6.5s and have good luck with them. I use the .003 for practice and the .001 for broad heads. They have been flying great with fixed blades. I used to shoot Easton axis but for the money I can’t justify spending any more for the results I am getting with the 6.5s.

    I would second the Montezuma boxes. They are great for keeping tools organized.

    What hunting rig are you running/how do you use it

    This is what we will be hunting out of this fall. 08 Chevy 3500 with a long bed and ARE topper. I do want to add a Ranch Hand front bumper.
