    For some reason my tikka guy seems to have a hard to time getting and/or keeping a 308 in stock. That’ll be a great for most thing rifle.

    I’ve have 50+ degree night in the BWCA of MN that’s were very chilly without a underquilt. I use a traditional self inflating pad with no real issues. Ps sleeping on the ground sucks!

    Sleep diagonally rather than inline with the trees. Causes you to lay flatter and not banana shaped.

    I prefer a sleep pad and a underquilt. I tie a little piece of paracord on rope going to the trees on each end so rainwater hit the tassle and drips away. If not the water travel down the whole rope and your soaked.

    I am running .665 choke in both guns. And have tried the longbeard 5s. The pattern master like them but the Carlson longbeard didn’t. I pick up long beard 6s to try. What I have it .665 choke.

    I was using fresh sheets of 2’x2’ paper with a turkey target overlaying it every shot. I recognize some shot was leaving the outsides of the target. I’m looking to bring them in with tighter choke. The citadel seems to like the Longbeard the best.

    Never liked the roughtech. Didn’t like the extra $500 for threads and a textured stock were worth it over the lites. But at $1000 it’s worth it.
