Bowstring/cam cover?

Hello, I'm looking at the Kuiu vs the Gohunt cam protector. I only need it for protection. I want to get the lightest one that is good. Does the Kuiu protect well enough or are you better off getting a heavier one that protects better? I'd be using this for archery elk hunting in Septermber.

2023 Black Hills South Dakota Merriam Turkey Help?

Boy that is crazy. That is a lot of days hunting for Nothing. I also saw a ton of deer. I appreciate the info. It just seems odd when you hear so much about the BH and turkeys. Thanks again.

Thanks for the responses. We did call some but not a ton. I am wondering if we were to high and should have been in more lowland flat /grassy stuff?
