Why I won’t buy a Tikka
Why do you need it on “safe” if it’s an empty chamber and uncocked??????? I like the bolt lock. Tikkas are drop safe, so I can hunt with one in the chamber on safe. My bolt can’t be opened if the handle snags on something. Short safety throw? It’s very crisp and positive, not sure why you’d... -
Hornady CX experiences?
Last season in Montana went 4 shots / 4 kills with Outfitter 7 PRC with the 160 CX. A whitetail doe at 370, a muley doe at 360, a muley buck at 196, and whitetail buck at about 40 yards. First three dropped at the shot. The last one was dead on his feet, running about 60 yards before collapsing... -

Yup, But . . . As has been mentioned. If Leupold would see the light, make their already existing Mark 4HD hold up to drops, we’d have a great solution without a new scope needing designed. And they obviously see a need for that type of scope since they developed it. -
