    So did I miss something? I’ve always heard that eldms operating fps is 1800 fps +? On the most recent podcast @Ryan Avery talks about having bullets “pencil through” at 1950 fps with the 180s in a 7mm prc?!

    He also had very large ears, the teeth could of definitely got mixed up at the lab, but this buck definitely made me scratch my head.

    I have a hard time believing he’s 2.5, after I saw his missing teeth. He also had big antler peticles like his antlers carried more mass at some point in his life.

    I was convinced this buck was 3 or 4 years old, but after tooth data came back he turned out to be 9.5 years old. Small antlers and not an overly big body. Must of been a rough winter.

    Rut has started

    I was seeing mature bucks rutting the 5-7, but it warmed up the 8-9, and the rut activity during daylight definitely slowed down. I saw big buck tracks appearing overnight in the areas though.
