So, I'm planning to upgrade my clothing setup this fall, and I was thinking Nontypical by Drake.
I mostly hunt northern Michigan where it almost never gets above 60F early season and around 15F late season.
Are there any other good brands that I should check out?
I'd like to get my stuff in...
So I'm planning to slowly upgrade my hunting clothing to a high end brand like Sitka or kuiu, and wondering which one is better for Whitetails. I know Sitka is more popular, but I've kind of been leaning towards Kuiu because of their camo options.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
I'm thinking of getting the Nontypical Silencer bib and coat for mid-late season. I live in northern mi, so early November we can have snow.
Anyone have any experience with these? Or a better option for about the same price?
I have a Lumix g7 with a 14-140mm (which is a pretty compact setup) with the muddy hunt hard arm. And then I just carry the usual stuff, knife, grunt tube, scentaway, ect..
I'd go with a camcorder, that way you can zoom super far, but still can do talking heads and stuff. They're a lot cheaper than a dslr or mirrorless and with those you would have to buy two lenses and be switching them to do talking heads.
So, I want to upgrade my daypack from a cheap Walmart one that is getting to small to something a little nicer and bigger. I do self-film, so I want lots of compartments, so my camera gear isn't smashing against my rattling antlers. Any recommendations? I dont want to spend over $100 though...
I seen someone else did a post on draw weight vs age, and thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone's body weight vs your draw weight is.
Mine is somewhere around 95# body and 55lbs draw.

His draw length seems to be correct as far as I can tell.
I would say his effective range is somewhere around 25 yards right now... but he's got the whole summer to practice yet.
So, I've been shooting a compound since I was 11 (16 now), and I've always drawn my bow with my elbow down and across my chest but have heard it can cause future shoulder problems and it makes a lot more movement and energy to draw that way.
I really would like to learn how to draw correctly...
