I just picked up my Omnia and it’s pretty amazing. Bow of the Year IMO, and I shot a lot of them. I really thought when I tested bows this year the Revex4 would be the winner, but the Omnia was that amazing.
I preferred the smooth mod over the performance, but man am I still getting...
Depending on the hunt, usually I’m all for taking a non-hunter with me. To set expectations though, unless I’m going after a doe, most of my hunts aren’t going to be too exciting.
This popped up in my head too. It’s kinda sad that my second reaction to this was, “wait, is this an anti-hunter trying to make a story out of an experience?”
I think a lot people have gone way too complex for hunting setups. I remember years ago the average shot on a whitetail was 18 yards, so are the side bars/back bars really needed. Indoors, my Omnia holds so well I may forgo a stabilizer all together.
Don’t get me started on sights. Holy crap...
