I'm in Springfied, IL and my buddy is a big bird hunter. He does allot of put n take hunts as well as state parks. Not allot of birds on private ground anymore around here
Started with a Beretta A391 Xtrema. Gave that to my son and I now use an A400 Xtreme. Never had an issue with either one. Both digested everything from light trap/skeet loads to 3-1/2" turkey loads.
Love my Bravo, but like others have said, it's heavy. Mine holds a Tikka T3X CTR and it's only used for long range steel. I've taken it coyote hunting a couple times, but wouldn't want to carry it on long hauls. Luckily we don't have to walk very far to our hunting spots in IL.

Ended up on this site a few times following links from google searches, etc. Started reading threads and decided to stay. I enjoy hunting whitetail, upland game, ducks, geese, turkeys, and coyotes.
I've only taken two hogs, so not an expert by any means. I used my 6.5G ar build and a 6.5CM tikka bolt gun. Going to try the 6 ARC using an ar build and also a Uintah bolt upper this April.
Happy with my 6 ARC build. Nice addition to my 223's. Haven't shot anything but paper with this yet, but it's been on a couple fruitless coyote hunts this year. I'll be using it for hogs this April.
