If I were legal and I was stand hunting and only shooting maybe out to 50 yards with a suppressor I'd consider it and then only take head shots from the right angles.
I've seen piles of large Beef cows put on their nose from 22 rim fire cartridges to even begin to doubt the ability of a 22 WMR...
I've got a pile of ADH 28 Nosler brass and a set of wild cater dyes someplace all packed up. (Just moved) Sometime I'll have to make a few cases in 22 cal.
You might just go and get a feel for the area and in the future if you feel you need some help with packing you could consider renting some. I don't really think the majority of spring bear hunting is the type of hunt you pack in for days at a time. You can do fine day hunting away from the...
Be sure you discuss ticks and the problems they can cause with the Llamas with the people you rent from. Since ticks are very abundant in the spring and are bad news for Llamas.
@knorthcutt222
Your doing pretty good for a 22" barrel.
My 26" is a 7 twist and I was having problems with pushing the copper jacketed bullets hard. They were coming apart.
That's going to be a VERY flat shooting setup.
I'll have to experiment more with 565 and see what I can do with it.
I was able to step it with one step but I also have a wildcat die that has tapered bushings just for doing that.
Fire forming is more important with this one than with the 6 UM and their brass being 6mm you are moving a lot more around with the 7mm PRC.
As an owner of a 6-7PRC who plans a couple more 6mm rifles for my wife and kids I will be building 6 UM rifles for them.
Reason I would go 6 UM now is the availability of brass and dies.
I'm undecided on what shoulder I would go with. If I can find a cheap 6mm barrel just for fire forming I'd...
If they worked I would have never sold my MK5HD. Loved the scope but hated how it lost zero in a padded case riding in a sxs or back of a truck for 2 weeks.
The Maven Rs1.2 has yet to hiccup after the same treatment and being knocked around in the woods and rocks.
Do like we did. Spend 3 years going st least 1x per month and visiting towns and parts of the state. Go sit down in local restaurants and visit with people. You will find places where you fit in and then start looking at houses.
To pull roots make that big move you really need to spend time...
Are you referring to running it off the trailer plug on a truck?
I can assure you that it will handle it since they are designed to handle an entire RV. The little that these heaters draw is not going to be even close to that.
Found something you guys might find useful for running your diesel heaters. I had actually discussed this idea with another member from Rokslide and now I found one on Amazon
