Very interesting. Do you think since its been one year since the demand, and conditions have extremely worsened, ATF could be held liable for this?
Realistically, that is. Not in the pro-2a dream land we find ourselves in sometimes lol.
No.
In fact I think ATF Numbers need to be cut in half, nay, 80%. And just automate the e-file system.
No red flags in their FED check? Algorithm checks drivers license picture to e-file picture? Fingerprints come back as able to be read? Auto approved. 1 hour - 24 hour turn around...
I was hearing that they have a lot of ATF reps still trying to finish up the paper files, and they are almost cleared up with that. Once the paper files are cleared then they will have more reps on the e-file which will start decreasing wait time as opposed to the constant increase.
Any company large enough to make it national, and is pro-2A gets my support. I don't care how they do it.
The alternative is the 85% of large nationwide companies who are vocally anti-2a just suppresses the 2A voices a little bit more. I will support any big pro-2A company to get them to drop...
For what it's worth, I was speaking to a NightForce rep just earlier this week and this is an exact quote from his Email:
"The NX8 has the same build/construction standards as the NXS and ATACR models, so it’s very capable of hard use."
I know your talking about glass quality here, but I...
It's always the early adopters who can turn people off by spreading the message. But the message gets spread regardless and popularizes the exploration of that item.
It's the whole, "no such thing as bad publicity"
