    Ultralight Ultralight Rifles

@packgoatguy , you could maybe loose 0.25oz by cutting the top off the fore end but leaving enough to go onto the barrel nut.

    Ultralight Custom Break Action Rifle

It is the standard contour (straight .810”), Karl really got after it with the fluting but it isnt as light as it could be if it was turned down. A 5 axis machine could turn it down and leave the forend mounting dovetails. I would guess a pencil profile would be around 16-19oz. But smokes you...

    Ultralight Custom Break Action Rifle

Mine is very accurate without too much thinking about it. I am using the oversize hinge pins and relieved the forearm stock so it only makes contact where the two screws mount. Both forearms screws are torqued equally and the mounting dovetails are slightly loose before mounting the forearm...

The PA SLX 3x performs orders of magnitude better in low light especially with the very low illumination setting. The 507 works well too when dimmed way down, the more dim the reticle the more crisp it is for me. The PA is built like a tank and provide precision capability that really...

    Ultralight Ultralight Rifles

The 507c I have weighs 1.7oz without base with a battery. Compared to the PA SLX, you will find that the chevron is less crisp and defined. I have a slight astigmatism and the point of the chevron is a little undefined for me. I could certainly see it working just fine from 3-400 in an open...

Yes, It is their standard wood stock set with a textured black paint. It has a similar feel to a Marlin Dark series stock.

Which size carbon fiber tube are you using with the JAG nut? Measuring it seems like 36x34mm will be a tight fit…. Also it seems that tube is only available in gloss everywhere I look.

I have a like new in box Taylors Alaskan Takedown 44 Magnum. It’s a pretty slick setup with a peep and pic rail and easily fits in a small pack. The action is smooth and I am impressed with the fit and finish. I have never fired it. I am asking $1250obo +shipping TYD. PP G&S, VM, or USPS MO...

    Ultralight Custom Break Action Rifle

Yes it has the SSK 6 screw mounting holes but I use a weaver base and warne hyperlite rings now. Over the ssk mount and pervious rings I dropped ~3oz from this which did not include my sling or 1 223AI cartridge.

    Ultralight Custom Break Action Rifle

Just to add to those interested in the contender variant. For their finished weight and compact size they are solid. Mine shoots very well and has the nickname Swiss cheese. Its currently 5.4lbs all up suppressed after changing rings and rail recently. -Custom Fluted 223AI 1:7 twist 16.5”...

Had anyone had any issues with the TNArms15 carbon lower? The weight savings is great but I could probably live with the extra 4oz if it has any repeated failure points.

    WTS Tikka t3 300WSM threaded

It shoots a true MOA 5 shot group all day. It has shot several shot strings at .5 or better. The biggest accuracy increase came from switching to the T3x stock and the precision machined steel recoil lug I put in. I shoots 180grn TTSX with a healthy charge of H4350 @2915fps. Ill see If I have a...
