SWFA website updated; More to come in 2024

Haven't had it outside yet but I really think on initial inspection indoors it doesn't appear different than the others I have. However I am not a glass snob but have tried to stick to Japanese glass , Sightron , old Bushnell elite and swfa. I do have A few Meopta and Athlon scopes too and to be...

I have a few SWFA products and like them very much. Got a new 12x yesterday and now I like them even more. Although I felt for the money they were extremely hard to beat I always wish they had capped turrets. I like the new one so much I may even consider trading a new in box never mounted 3-9...

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

I have and I guess I could be surprised.

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

That seems to be the general consensus here. I am very new so cannot say I have read every optic thread here but every time anything comes up about options on another scope a 1 sample size review gets referenced and SWFA recommended SWFA is awesome but there are other Awesome scopes too in my...

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

I have enough for now I think.

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

Nope. Although I am not the guy that dials or tries to use reticles designed for BDC. I'm mostly the guy that's shooting rimfires (set and forget)and putting rigs together that will never get used to their full potential just because I love guns and scopes. I do however shoot a lot of shotgun...

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

This is the higher magnification 3-15×44 optika5 on a CZ 457. I also wanted to mention that I think I like the 2-10 ×42 better as they have plenty enough magnification for the rifles I intend to put them on and they are I think over and 1" shorter as well as around a couple oz lighter...

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

Zplus all of them. I had forgotten while all the sales were going on I had also gotten a 2-10 PA too for a Howa M1100 I've had setting around for a minute. So 3 total optika5 scopes. I like them very much. However I have 9 swfa scopes along with swfa binos and like them very much too. Grew up...

    Meopta Optika5 2-10x42 or SWFA 6x42

I have 2 OPTIKA 5's one of the 2-10 's no PA one with PA 3-15 on a CZ 457 that I really like and the one without PA I intend to put on a Ruger 77 .357 that I purchased because I liked the other scope so much. I also have an OPTIKA 6 and the relatively new Meosport (which I like really well) too...

    SWFA, what’s the deal?

All plain white but the binos and the new 1. Have a moa 6X too but cannot remember what I did with its box but it was my first swfa in the plain Jane stapled white box I remember (at the time) thinking I should have gotten a little nicer box for my $299. I have come to appreciate the plain boxes...

    SWFA, what’s the deal?

Have about 9 swfa scopes including a 3-9 from 2016 or 17 I think. All white boxes.

    SWFA, what’s the deal?

3-9 On the porch today with the upgraded black box when I got home. Ordered 12-30 if I remember correctly. Wonder what the motivation was for the box upgrade?

    Upland shotguns

Also would just add that the magnets are a neat safety feature that allows you to keep the shotgun broke open in crowded conditions like a duck blind or pit without having to worry about the shells falling out.

    Upland shotguns

My favorite is a red label 28g (I've had 20 and 12 both as well but both were heavy and clubby to me) but they are no longer made and hard to get at a reasonable price. I have hunted upland game from a young age as that is what my father was into the most. He trained and field trialed "bird...

    Made in/ Athlon

For the record I never meant for this to be a thread about someone who reviewed a particular scope and what their findings may have been. Just wanted to maybe see what everyone else's personal thoughts may have been in comparison to mine as I came home from work and had a new scope on the porch...

    Made in/ Athlon

I agree. It isn't very important but was enough to inspire me to put the questions out there. Performance, durability and reliability would be #1 by far. I have more optics with made in Japan on them than any others that I have. That was my focus at 1 time and everyone of them researched quite...
