I used a company called big game transport to get my meat home. Picked up at the butcher ,500$ to cut and wrap
from Utah to Pennsylvania, was around 650$ Delivered
not inexpensive
i Used 7mm 160 accubonds on my bull . I would use the same combination again.
Can I say , I like to see a pretty kill , not excessively blooded or “ shot up”, accubonds do all I ask for
Last year
my son and I purchased Binos for elk hunting
I picked meopta 15 power
he picked Leopoldo 15 power bx
both were the same price.
I think my meopta are a tad sharper, but his Leuphold feel better in you hands.
I lost one of my adjustable eye pieces and meopta replaced it no charge
Both will kill an elk
I would consider rifle geometry. Maximum shot range expected.
in my opinion, The 7 mag with 160 accubonds is bad medicine for elk.
