Mountain Hardwear Kor Airshell. The Pertex Quantum Air provides enough breathability (~20 CFM) for active use. It's super lightweight and packable. Also the fabric doesn't really stick to your skin and get clammy. Can be found on sale a lot too
Definitely prefer solids as it's more versatile for use outside hunting. A lot of the tops / bottoms have cross over usage in both active and casual city wear. I esp like using cargo pants for urban use and I think they look quite cool
I have some Hestra Fall Line gloves I use for skiing. Some of the seams are coming apart and I'm not too happy about it. Have been told to look at Black Diamond or Outdoor Research next
Mountain Hardwear Airmesh gives pretty decent warmth per weight. You can also flip it inside out so the slick layer faces inward for different layering. It's on sale a lot too
Proton LT will have some nylon noise when the face fabric rubs against itself (e.g. arms). Otherwise it's not that noisy. It has a tighter chest fit wise so it's hard for me to layer underneath it
