    id be intrested to see in a 10" twist if a 200 grain will stabilize. it might be the limit. elk and moose can get knocked down with 165 but not at 200 distance.

    I went with the 300wm on my tikka roughtech. It's just the best gun for elk and moose. Ammo is easy to find but a little expensive. Usually shoot once before season to ensure your still on target, then your only shooting maybe 5 bullets all year for kill shots. If you want to get good at...

    I couldn't disagree more. This tikka shoots amazingly. 300wm. 6x24x50 Zeiss v4 illuminated just gets me on target.

    Tikka Roughtech stock torque

    In the back of the book, there is a torque guild. I believe the ring/or rail to the reciever is 40 in lbs. I did mine at 35 in front 40 in back. Also consider laping your rings before scope install. My lightweight rings were torqued at 17 in lbs and all screws are blue loktite.
