I have an FHF sling, I'm a fan of it. Takes some tinkering, and I usually have to make small adjustments depending on how full my pack is but generally it is really stable and I've been happy with it after a couple seasons.
Up for sale is a Kuiu Pro LT 7000 bag in phantom. This bag has been used in the field <10 days, and is in excellent shape aside from one grommet on the cinch at the top of the bag (see photos). It still functions for now, and if you're handier than me you can probably come up with a solution...
Big fan of my Tensor Insulated pad. I've had it for close to 2 years I think and never had an issue, also think it's quieter than most Thermarests out there. I have a zero degree bag and camp throughout the winter, I've never really had nights where I wished my pad was thicker/provided more...
I'm sure there are plenty of other options out there, some of which are heavier duty so would be curious what others recommend as well, but I've used these on my mid-2000s Tahoe and they've worked great each time I've had to bust them out. Really easy to put on and off too
I'd echo what other people have said about chains - always better to have them and not use them than to not have them and need them.

I'm a big fan of my Nemo Tensor Insulated pad. Super comfortable, very packable (nalgene size), and it's not slippery or loud in my experience. They've got a couple sizing options you could play around with, I've been very happy with mine.
If you use it without the inner are you able to get a pitch pretty low to the ground still? Wasn't able to get a sense for that in any videos I've found
