Like new Kuiu Divide 3000 pack. Great condition, only used on one turkey hunt this spring. Bought one last fall, used it for deer season and loved it as a day pack. Had to warranty that pack (because they’re not really designed to pack out a whole deer); this is the replacement pack Kuiu sent...
I’m looking into picking up a tripod for this hunting season. I’ve looked at several options, and found reviews for most, except for the Vortex Mountain Pass aluminum tripod. Hoping someone has some experience with it in the field. Currently only have 10xs to glass off it with, but will...
I’ll pull my pack out after work and get you some size references for the divide pocket.
The big main compartment has three access points. The biggest is the cinch closed top with the snow collar. Typical for bigger/backpacking bags, it makes stuffing bigger things in well. I kept my game bags...
I’ve used the Kuiu Divide 3000 as a day pack. Nice, durable pack with plenty of room for layers and gear. Compresses very well if you’re going lighter. The divide pocket works great as a big stuff pocket to access quick layers without opening the pack. Would work well for carrying your tripod as...
Used Crispi Guide GTX Non-insulated boot, size 10D. Bought them locally but they’re not a good fit for my feet. They’ve got one season on them for a couple different species. They’ve still got miles left on them, and I cleaned them up and conditioned them. The original insoles were missing when...
It does have the attachment loops for KUIU’s rifle carry system, but I ran a stone glacier rifle holder on the back/side. I attached the rifle carry as needed using a gate keeper buckle and the compression straps. Worked really well to go hands free.
Sounds good! I’m in north Idaho. Thick timbered slopes, clear cuts, rain, wind, snow, freezing temps in the morning that can swing to 50s by the afternoon. Results in the potential for multiple insulating layers, wind jacket, and rain jacket on top of the other gear. I was looking for a bag with...
Not sure if you still want a review of the Divide 3000, but I hunted all of this year with it, turkey, elk and deer, in north ID, and could give you my experience. Shoot me a reply or PM 👍
It’s going to be application dependent. If you’re looking for a bench rifle for ringing steel out at 600+ during daylight hours, you likely can get and will benefit from more magnification. Make sure to match quality with magnification. Cheap 20+ mag isn’t going to do much. For hunting, if you...
