    Which suppressor?

I'm considering a CGS Hyperion, but its 9" and weighs 15oz (direct thread). It has the best (quietest) suppression rating for a 6.5/308, with a limited first round pop which has more of an affect on a bolt action than a semi-auto...

    Subaru durability

I think that really depends on the model and generation. I have a Gen 5 outback bought new in 2015 that has seen 1 non-maintenance issue over the past 150k miles - a frozen front hub that was replaced with warranty. They drive great, are roomy for BACKSEAT passengers (and front) and have ample...

Anyone wear just a merino sock?

another vote for just one pair of wool socks. I used to use smartwool, but they started coming apart and getting thin very quick. Ive tried the REI wool socks when they go on sale, but Darn tough seems to be the best by a mile. As other have said, they have varying thicknesses, and i choose...

    Painful knees

im sorry to hear about your friend, those clots are serious issues. Im sure there are ways to reduce those risks. I had a torn miniscus that caused pain for years. I attempted all the things you did, but driving was so painful. I decided to not have it scoped, until one day it locked up and...

    New to squirrels

17HMR, headshots only. Ive gotten a couple of neckshots that have left the shoulder meat destroyed. I recently picked up for FMJ rounds to try and see if i have less meat loss.

    Painful knees

Ive found yoga to be very helpful, especially the quad and calf strengthening. I also found that skipping dairy helped reduce joint pain, and squats and lunges in particular when done SLOWLY has been tremendously helpful in reducing overall pain.
