Savage axis 2 veil woodlands edition .308 with YHM resonator K and this years kill. Vortex diamondback 4-12. Cheap rifle but shoots half moa with Barnes vortex 168gr. Has became my favorite bolt rifle lately.
I have a Savage Axis 2 .308. It shoots Barnes 168 vortex into .5 moa so it’s the load I use. I’ve only killed one decent whitetail buck at 200 yards. It dropped where it stood and I will probably never use a different round. I was very impressed with accuracy and performance.
I’ve had this Franchi AL 48 20 ga for 17 years. Never failed me on birds, squirrels and rabbits. Don’t use it for turkey becuase it’s only 2 3/4 chambered. I would highly recommend a Franchi.
The first suppressor I got in 2020 (YHM t2) took 8 months. The second one in 2021 (YHM resonator k) took 15 months. Would like a rimfire can but don’t wanna wait again.
Not a Kimber, but my Savage Axis 2 also shoots 168 gr Barnes vortx into 1/2 moa. Has been the most accurate factory load I have found for almost any .308 rifle I have owned.
I have a Savage Axis 2 veil woodlands edition. It shoots Barnes 168 gr vortex at 1/2 moa. When I was breaking the barrel in with 150gr Tula, it was shooting them a little over 3/4 moa. One of the most accurate rifles I’ve ever owned. Scope is a vortex crossfire 4-12.
