I have only put 15 miles of regular trails on these boots. For $366 out the door, I am concerned about their longevity. The toe is wearing a lot faster than I anticipated. I suppose because the boot is so stiff there is a lot of pressure on that part of the outsole. Any thoughts? I sent this to...
This may just be me, but I purchased some new Asolo Fugitive GTXs a few months ago and after putting less than 5 miles on them have found that they are not waterproof at all. A dog walk in the rain was all it took. I am super disappointed. I know that all these "waterproof" boots are not...
That's interesting. I think of liberals as being for the freedom of individuals. Seems like a left leaning lurch to me. Here in the US the left-wing seems to have taken over the moniker "liberal" to my annoyance.
This looks good. Not too pricey either. $165 for the barrel. BB says other modifications are needed:
I have a G21 (Gen 3). Any advice on where to find out the other modifications? Could just ask BB or a gunsmith I suppose.
Edit: I am going to guess that all I need is the barrel and spring, but...
From CDFW: The regulations do not prohibit the possession of concealable firearms containing lead ammunition, provided the firearm is possessed for personal protection and is not used to take or assist in the take of wildlife. With the exception of ammunition for concealable firearms possessed...
Any thoughts on these? For example, for last resort bear defense. I have the Underwood ammo, but just found the G9 Defense round. In CA so I need non-lead ammo.

1998 VW 1.9L TDI manual, 325k miles. Lots of maintenance on things like the radiator, turbo, etc, but the engine is original. The monthly cost of maintaining it just keeps making so much sense that I can't justify buying something new. A truck would be nice...
Curious what people think about the new rule changes for hunting pigs in California.

I was really torn between the 7-08 and the 30-06... I wanted to try the former but ended up going with the latter because of my prior investments in 30-06 ammo. The all copper stuff (I'm in CA) isn't cheap.
Also have the B14 Hunter with cerakote (30-06). Excellent fit and finish. It outshoots me with both Barnes TTSX 168 grain and Federal Trophy Copper 180 grain. The recoil is far less noticeable than on my 1917 Eddystone... Anyway, love the rifle and can't recommend enough.
