Took me two years to like the thumb release. When hunting came around that first season I went back to the index and arrowed a couple deer. Then summer shooting and 3D came around I picked the carter just b cuz back up and finally started to improve with it, finally. Ended up killing two nice...
All I've tried is the pants and they leave something to be desired. They have a very nice material and finish. the pants look good and the DWR treatment is a nice touch. That said the gusseted crotch is a little lacking. The waist of the pants is wider than the hips which I find strange, I think...
Often times read text is interpreted in the voice of the reader. The comment was meant to be in good humor(sarcasm if you will). Men like to Razz each other but apparently it's not allowed in this safe space. Clearly not a satellite bull, in fact it's a great looking bull. I've only been close...
if you have a concrete floor, it should retain a lot of those cooler temps, at least in my garage it did. if this is a worry you can run a fan to help build that "crust" on the carcass. this will help protect the meat through the temp changes.
This should be good. I recently cut up a buck after 6 days hanging and had similar temps, one day hit 63. everything was great, wish it hung a bit longer.
I always skin the animal. it's much easier fresh and I don't like the connective tissue being somewhat slimy after a week hanging. I have...
i'm currently in process of switching. picture quality is better on OnX. each have features that are unique to each but honestly Gohunt is nice to have everything that is offered on one website. I always find myself using google earth to do most scouting and transferring files over to the...
I wonder if there is a way to make a longer trekking pole that would be able to be used as the center pole on it's own. I know many guys like to take at least one trekker to save weight but this way you could still have two if needed and leave one at camp for your tent instead of taking the...
Been playing around with these for a few months. They seem like good arrows to me. Went from 250 spine FMJ's to these and it took my arrow from 524 to 422 grains. Sure shortened my sight tape a lot too. I will say with the light arrow my bow sounds much louder than before. Also feel longer shots...
draw odds for 2nd draw are 0%.
I've been leaning toward PP but my group is trying to get me to grab a tag. Mostly they want anybody that has a bull tag to have a cow tag paired with them. Either way I know I'd for sure have fun.
Here we go, application season is full swing. The group of hunters I head out west with is a great group of guys. Emotions never get to high, or to low and they grind. There's no quit in these fellas. With that said, here's my dilemma. Would six elk tags be to much for fall 2023? We will be...
my 2 cents from a guy that dropped 100lbs
don't drink calories. (diet pop and zero calorie Gatorade is totally fine)
resistance training 3x per week minimum
walk 10 minutes after each meal (or 30 minutes a day dedicated to cardio, can be LISS or HIIT)
eat more protein. .8-1gram per lbs of goal...
