I certified a trust in January and still haven't heard back.
I certified an individual on Monday and am picking the can up tomorrow!! I got the approval notification in less than 48hrs.
The reality is that a creedmoor, 25-06, 270, 243 and even the .223, WITH GOOD BULLETS, are all 100% capable big game hunting cartridges. Even for those wild angled shots that everyone is so afraid of. Centerfire cartridges are more alike than different at hunting ranges.
The "S" word (sheep, in this case) tends to get chests swoll up! (Also a lot of helpful posts and good info provided by complete strangers on the internet!)
Lots of pen't/spent up feelings, urges, and emotions, and dollars tied to that "S" word.
And the older we get, the more difficult it...
I think the Access bag will fit nicely, too. That plus lid could push it to 4000ish ci.....but also getting into the weight range of a lid-less Terminus +/-. Tomato-tomato territory, but a solid smaller bag has a place in my lineup, either way.
Fair enough. And I understand that. "Sneaky" doesn't translate as intended.
I think there's a couple of factors to consider - in MT, a dude with an accessory bag stands out - advertising, as mentioned above. In other parts of the country, I suppose it blends in more.
Anytime I see a dude with a fanny pack, shoulder bag, sling pack, murse, messenger bag, etc, I just figure they're carrying ....so it's not that sneaky....
Carry on!!
Are you reviewing the Tokeen? I'm planning to grab one here soon, too. Looks like a capable enough day pack/ lightweight multi-day.
I think I can see a way to top it with the lid from my Terminus for a little extra volume at minimal weight penalty.
