    For those that have boots with roughout leather instead of smooth leather, what do you use for boot treatment/waterproofing? I would assume if you used a cream treatment like the Kenetrek Wax or the Cripsi Cream it would lay down the matte of the rough out and maybe make it look waxy/weird...

    I just got an email from Black Ovis with what looks to be Crispis new releases. I don’t see any changes in the Briksdahl MTN. Looks like they put an actual hook on the Lapponia instead of that crappy fabric lace loop

    If you want freestanding I would say BA Copper Spur or Nemo Dragonfly, which are true freestanding. The TarpTent Double Rainbow can also be made freestanding but you need trekking poles.
