Oh boy did you open up a forum for opinions.
I run a kimber montana in 300wsm with a vx-3 HD 4.5-14x40 CDS. I can't tell you what it weighs all in but I think it's close 7 lbs. I will say it kicks like a mother since I don't have a muzzle break. It's the older model.
I also have a kimber hunter...
Thank you. He was bedded down 170 u
yard away with his ass towards me. I had plenty of time set up a good rest. Took about 5 mins until he popped his head and turned so I got a clean look. Needless to say I didn't have to go looking for him. Cutting off the head was a bit easier as well. Haha
I have a kimber hunter in 6.5 creedmore. I am looking for upgrading the stock to a montana or some other kind of carbon fiber stock. Please let me know what you for sale.

I'll try and help you a little but since I am from Sweden and still spend parts of the year there.
All hunting is conducted on some sort of private land whether it's private person, Forrest company you name it. Pretty much all hunting is leased out to hunting teams. A group of people get...
Looking for a rangefinder. I only do rifle for now. I would prefer to get one that compensates for the angle as I hunt in mountainous terrain. Please let me know what you got.
Nothing to add to your initial question since I have never shot a black bear, I have joined on bear hunts before tho.
But as a response to the snide comments. It's the internet and people feel cool behind their lap top/phone. Truth is that every hunter has missed/screwed up, and if you haven't...
I will say that the one thing I forgot to bring up is that it is versatile in terms of different Temps. For me I went from borrowing sleeping bags to buying "one" that covers a wide spectrum without having to spend more money.
Mainly late summer hunts In SE AK to later season in Alaska range.
So I have sort of put it thru the paces now. Tried it with just the "quilt", just the bag and both of them together.
The things I do like.
The pillow barn is great when using the quilt. The system is very versatile in terms of different setups depending on temperature. Which saves money instead...
A question with Socky's.
The price that is shown online, is that a completed stock with limbsaver, swivels, bedded etc. that is shipped home for you to just put your action/barrel in?
Thank you for putting your hard work towards the hunting community.
Let's go kimber. If stocky's starts making one for around that 550$ they are selling their other stocks for now, I'll be on it like white on rice.
Basically like getting a montana at a discount.
