100%, but why settle for something in 7mm? When I said 30 cal, I meant that component selection is wide and in no way going to stop improving with such calibers as 300prc, 300wsm, etc.
If your worried about muzzle jump, try a timed brake or a can, technology now days is amazing.
22 to the head kills most things. Ammo would be a lot easier to stockpile and practice should be a consideration.
Give me a 22, a 30 cal, 9mm and a 12 gauge.
I would be interested in a zip-in type instead of the friction fit. I believe a true zip in would make much more sense and allow for the correct angle and pressure to be applied.
What type of weight would you be thinking? Ultimately that is what caught my attention with my original. I like the...
I like the idea, and I even bought a KUIU for this reason. I just hope you can design a better stove jack. After my first, and last for this tent, in Colorado this year, the removable stove jack failed.
What material do you plan on manufacturing the jack from that can withstand the heat...
Have the same gun in the same caliber. Went with a NF NX8 4-32 from Cameraland and have been super happy. Started shooting to 600 yards and the extra mag helps a ton.
That caliber is used on the f class circuit and guys will ring targets out to 1000.
That's pretty neat for this year. How do you plan on upgrading this product year over year to generate more sales? I will probably wait for it to hit the classifieds myself after the fad wears off.
I wouldnt miss out on training for stalks and learning deer just to put one down the first week of season... As it progresses I wouldn't mind shooting anything
Do you have more than one tag? I am in Iowa and the first doe goes in the freezer. Then I get more selective.... First squirrel or raccoon is always a full send
I really like Barnes bullets and when remington made the high terminal copper, my BAR shot those under 1". Most 30 cal I have seen like the 168 tax/ttsx bullets and that combo can be used for most game.
Non-mono option would be the precision hunter from a availability standpoint. I never had...
Get to applying right away. I was in your same position 3 years ago...same state even ;). Depending on your area, there are a ton of guys to gain info from that can help relate here to our west.
Also, not sure what hunts you have in mind, but even with private land whitetails, I can't help but...
My wife works in food safety. She freaks out on some of our stuff, but I would bet the worst day in our handling of game is better than the average food service. It's scary the stories she has of "high-class" places.
