Shot mine for 9 months ...zero issues! Sold it today because SS34 will be here soon. The SR was a great bow in comfort setting. Nothing bad to say about mine!
I'm planning my first solo Western hunt. I'll be after mule deer in the high country of Colorado. I've been on a few backcountry pack hunts. This will be my first solo mission. I'd like to stay as long as possible but also want to be realistic thinking 5 days 4 nights. Oh and I've never hunted...
Stick with it man you only fail when you quit trying! Dial your diet in first. You can't out run a bad diet.
Ever think about using kettlebells? The book and workout Simple and Sinister will give you a good base to grow from. Cardio and weight training at once.
Cardio is always gonna...
I've had a few slip ups since February. I haven't had alcohol since April 17th and have really worked on my diet. I walk/jog/ mostly walk 15-25 miles per week. Started at 5'11" and 285 lbs. I think I'm still 5'11" but scale said 231 yesterday. One thing I've learned along the way is that this...
I wear the cheapest stuff I can because I cross alot of barbed wire fences so unless someone comes out with barbedwire resistant clothing I'll leave the expensive stuff out of my war chest! I do carry a heater body suit strapped to my stand when it's gonna be cold. So I guess my dream would be a...
Well I had and amazing week at work and decided to reward myself this weekend. Stopped and got a 6er and tossed some ribs on the smoker! I felt like crap Saturday! Sunday I needed to recommit to my goals. It had been almost 6 weeks with no alcohol. Crazy how your body reacts to things after...
The SR350 is a shooter!! The problem with speeds and shooting through a chronograph is there are so many variables. Light ,slight off parallel angle, cheap chronographs the list goes on... I personally own 3 chronographs a shooting chony , competition electronics pro and Caldwell ballistics G2...
This should/could be the week I drop in to the 250's. From 285 in a month. I know the loss is going to start to slow down dramatically right around 250 . I'm ready for that this time. Still doing warrior style intermittent fasting , 4 hr eating window and whole foods. Today marks 1 month no...
Superbowl Sunday wil be 3 weeks with no Alcohol. I've mentioned in an earlier post that I sleep better. Well after 3 weeks another thing I have noticed is I don't need as much sleep either. I get up at 3:45 AM for work. I used to get home at 4PM and drink 6-8 beers and be in bed by 7-730 only...
It's been a tad over 2 weeks without alcohol. I FEEL AMAZING! I'm still taking it one day at a time but I don't feel the need to drink again. I sleep better , feel better and the weight is shedding rapidly!
This is why I only weigh in monthly or every couple weeks max. I track what I eat religiously that helps me know if I'm on track. If I do my part the weight will drop. No need to play anymore head games with myself than necessary.
I'm shedding water weight like crazy down 10# in a week. Stay strong Brothers!! Keep your eyes on the prize of being a much more capable hunters. I have not drunk a calorie in a week , that was one of the main focuses of my diet plan...calories are for food water is for drinking!
Quiting Alcohol will make a huge impact. I'm not sure if you have any joint pain or stiffness , if you do monitor the effect quiting alcohol has on it. It's had such a profound effect on my knees that I'm ready to hang up my beer mug for good. Besides quiting alcohol the other thing that helps...
Does anybody have any experience with the Seek Outside Eolus? Seems like it would fit in the weight range I'm looking for and have plenty of room for me and gear. My only concern is that I am over compensating and at 12' x 8' it may be tricking finding a place to get it pitched.
