Installed with factory tikka barrel and standard insert.
Cheek piece has to be taken off to remove the bolt, thumbscrew makes that a little less inconvenient
A lot of the really old compounds with smaller cams can be found cheap and do well for bowfishing. Nothing wrong with a recurve either. I’m a big fan of AMS retrievers, avoid Cajun reels.
I developed some bad target panic for a while after coming back from a shoulder injury before fully healed. Blind bale shots helped the most. Also lowering the draw weight to something really easy to hold helped me take my time with the release process.
I too have a 30 cal rifle that really likes interlocks for some reason. Switching from a stock to a chassis made no difference. Doesn’t shoot noslers, federal fusions, or eldms well at all. Only thing it shoots better is 168gr sierra match kings. Interlocks work fine for a hunting bullet
Are you shooting with one eye closed? I get eye strain and trouble focusing the longer I shoot if I do. I’ve been working to make the switch to both eyes open and it helps
There is tons of info on this site showing how cost doesn’t necessarily correlate with a scope’s ability to hold zero.

No issues tracking activities. Battery is good but if you’re tracking all day the solar may be better. For me the instinct was more comfortable and noticeably...
Are you talking about when the bolt is forward but just barely not all the way closed? I’ve had the M3500 for a while and this seems to happen if I’m too gentle closing the action instead of letting it slam shut. My buddy had one and it did the same thing. Never had an issue cycling between...
After the first night in a brand new trekking pole tent I emptied the tent and grabbed my poles for a day hike. Left the tent staked down. Came back a few hours later with holes chewed all over the fly. Lesson learned for sure
