You should be able to find a tikka around 750. Do yourself the favor and save up a little more for it nothing else is close in that price range. However if budget really is that tight I think the Winchester xpr is a nicer rifle than the savage axis and ruger gen 1 I have.
Same for me too. I’ll probably help out on some late season cow hunts maybe shoot one myself but I’ve got a brand new snowmobile sitting at the dealership in town so bring on the snow!
Saw some lip curling and interest in does from younger bucks but no big boys. Does still in small groups spread out not herding up. Hopefully next few days bring on some real rut action
Spent a little time yesterday with a buddies b6 12x50 and was very impressed. I won’t get rid of my b2 but if I was in the market I would probably lean towards the b6 10x50

All bullets can fail. However I think when someone cries bullet failure or talks about how bad a bullet is it’s usually 1) a bullet doesn’t do what they expected or desired but the animal is dead or 2) it was a terrible shot that they are telling themselves was perfect.
