    Help with 300 WSM Bullet

    I have a 18" 300WSM built on a Savage Striker 510 action, her favorite hunting bullet has been the Berger 185gr VLD-H and I have used it on everything from Squeekers and Yotes up to Pigs and Elk. Performance on game has been very good and my SP absolutely loves it.

    What power were you looking through each? At 10X the 2-10X40 will have a 4mm exit pupil while the 3-9X40 at 9x will have a larger 4.44mm exit pupil.

    I did extensive testing on 300WinMag when the law hit. I found the best results in my rifle with a 165gr Hornady GMX over 74.5grs of H4831

    300 wsm powders, what’s good?

    My 300WSM prefers H4350 but will shoot IMR 4350 well also. Out of your available powders you should have good luck with the RL16, the RL23 may also works well depending on your guns preference. I have found that H1000 is a bit slow and I have no experience with Ramshot.
