    Sure-trac vs PJ trailer

We have 6 sure trac trailers and use them hard. They have held up very well. Paint holds up much better than pj. I’ve not owned a pj but I see them around all the time and they don’t stay new looking for very long.

Need a new truck, what’s good?

We use diesels for work. Have settled on super duty’s for now. Mostly diesels and have one 7.3 gas in the mix. They have been excellent. I have a 23 f150 5.0. To new to talk about longevity. I ordered with the 3.73 gears and would recommend going that route. Very little highway driving and the...

    Maven B.2 Binos

I have some b2 9x45’s and love them. Yes they are a bit heavier. No they aren’t the best money can buy but for what they cost they’re an excellent option. Zero complaints. And the weight does help when taking a look at things off the tripod.

    Ice fishing, flasher vs sonar?

I use a marcum lx7 and like it much more than a vex. Far more detail from what I’ve seen. Live scope will be next after watching a friend fish last winter. In particular for lake trout.

    Bigger pickup or smaller camper?

I have a landscape company and horses are a hobby. I’ve pulled a trailer 200 days a year for a few decades. Get the 3/4 ton with what your describing. Rarely do I hear someone say they wish they had a lighter truck when towing. In ideal conditions a half ton will get it done. As someone else...

    Beginner Livestock for Small Acreage

The best part about pigs is getting them in the spring and they finish before hunting season in the fall. Put them in a moveable pen mine is 10’x20’. Move it every couple days. Chickens are great but not so fun in the winter. Eggs freeze and pop.

2008 FJ Cruiser - Pull the Trigger?

Love em till you get to a stoplight. That slim windshield makes it difficult to look up…. They sure do hold their monetary value!

Schnees vs crispi customer service & quality

I tried a set of beartooths and they were not a good fit for me. Had zero issues retiring them. Have two pair of crispies and zero issues. I have narrow feet n high arches for what it’s worth.

    New Mexico Unit 45

I’ve had two muzzleloader elk tags in the pecos. Successful both times. Steep and high elevation! Didn’t see a single decent mule deer either time. Must not have been in the correct areas.

    Ruger American

Being fortunate enough to have 4 teenagers deer hunting at once I needed some affordable rifles. We have two of them and they have both been outstanding. Zero quality control issues and both shoot sub moa with factory ammo.

    Why not 7mm-08?

My kids and I have killed a bundle of whitetails with a model 7 in 7-08. 140 grain partitions knock em dead. Nice light gun to carry. Since seeing the results from this rifle several friends are using them as well.

    Archery elk hunting Montana.

I don’t have an e bike but most of the trails in the area we hunt go up from the road. Dirt bikes seem like the way to go I’ve seen them climb some stuff I didn’t think was possible.

Sitka vs. First Lite for Whitetails?

I have zero experience with Sitka. Living in nw lower mi it gets cold. Furnace base layer and solitude set have been a very successful combo for me down to negative wind chills and all day sits. I have thrown a puffy jacket in there as well. Snow doesn’t stick to the solitude and briars don’t...

    First Lite Furnace

Love my furnace set. Under the solitude set for whitetail or under the ice fishing gear. It’s to hot for September elk!
