    Unpopular opinions: eastern hunting can be just as enjoyable as western hunting. .270, .308, 7mm mag are fine 99% of the time. It’s ok to wash your hunting clothes with detergent. Public land isn’t “yours”, treat it like a community resource. Sitting over bait isn’t hunting.

    Out of sight better than in sight. Locked better than open.metal better than wood or plastics. Bolted better than not. A truck cap/topper deters most not all. Decked storage or steel tool boxes more protection than a topper. Bars and a lock better than just a lock. Same as anywhere else.
