Checking Scope after Traveling out West

I'd say as long as you are out there you can find a spot to check your zero. Just make sure you're not shooting across any roads. Also if you have a good case to travel in, it shoot be good. I've traveled many of miles on country roads and never had a problem.

I would stay away from danner, they are a hit and miss these days. I just bought Crispi Colorado and the summit and my brother bought the Dakota and we both love them. Had some Irish Setter trail blazer and those were a great mid class boot for under $200. Kenetrek is a great boot but $$$$$$. I...

Someone please tell me what I’m missing

Nope you are not missing anything. Its a game of using what works until it does not and then upgrade. I have been hunting Oregon for 30 years and cabelas gear worked fine until I wanted something better, lighter weight. A fanny pack worked fine until I shot a deer 2 miles back and drag it out...

I will be going on 9 day mule deer backcountry hunt this year and My pack is coming in at 55lbs, including 2 liters of water, weapon system and plenty of food. Swarovski NL Pure 12x42 problem?

I would say, it depends if you got them at a discount. If you got them on a discount I'd send them in, yeah it sucks but hey you got a deal. If not return them and get them from somewhere else. Good luck to you, that can be frustrating.
