It's not easy but I have So Cal national forest out of my back yard and hunt from my house most of the time.
Feel pretty blessed to have access to nature so close.
Got one today. Already have the bigger Stihl, but have always been impressed with my Buddies Dewalt. Already have batteries and happy to have a lighter total package saw for trail work.
Have a buddy that has sold me on use cases where a tenkara make sense. He has caught a bunch on his in small streams, there is a pretty good learning curve on line management so you don't get hung up or break anything but he seems to have it down.
I am not a big dude, but think you'd be a good use case for a zen bivy. Check it out and see what you think. I sleep like a baby in mine, love how roomy it feels.

I went with a marsupial and I have liked it so far. Interested to see what people suggest as well.
I didn't have much of an issue switching to barefoot shoes for every day shoes but haven't made the switch yet to boots. Whatever you get, make sure it's a wide. I got Schnees timberline in wide as I started.
My feet were able to splay out and made a world of difference in comfort. As I am...
