My first set of sheds

AWESOME. Good Luck, I've lived around Elk all my life but still rarely find sheds, but that's because of the thick year round brush in western WA. I know how awesome finding sheds are. Keep it up.

.270 Round Combo?

I've used 150gr Nosler Partitions in my .270 for years, on both deer and elk. Works great never an issue. The bigger the bullet the better for Elk, and with a .270 I wouldn't recommend stretching the distance too much on elk.

Elk behavior with sudden snow?

With snow they may move to easier food, which might be a diffeent facing slope, or down the mountain, but they will often be right back. But every ridge and draw is different and every elk is different, they all make different decisions, just like people. You just have to hunt where you are and...

Tikka T3lite - 300wsm - mule deer/elk gun

Go heavy. I would go with a 180gr ttsx or maybe a 180gr accubond, both can be found easily enough in factory loads. Bullets bigger than 180gr are not optimal for wsm.

How do I kill this dang bull!!!

Just keep doing what you are doing, make small adjustments. You are getting opportunities which tells me you are doing it right, keep it up and one time it will all come together, or he will bust you and leave the country. But that's just elk hunting. Good Luck.
