Just pull up the scoring sheet from the P&Y website. 1/4" steel tape, piece of flexible wire, small alligator clip, masking tape, pencil and rudimentary math skills is all you need.
I modified my Load Shelf with the K4 Lid Strap set and the extra buckles to mate together. The way it works now is buckles at the top of the Load Shelf rather than trying to get the "G" hooks connected. Easier for an old guy in the dark.
May have to order the Orange Lid and the Nalgene holder...
Since you are new to reloading, use your Hornady brass, probably won't see the difference with premium brass. As you get better skilled, then get better brass. Big thing is not to mix brass, keep all the same headstamp. Any mainstream brand dies will work. Buy a manual, read it and learn to...
Was this a new rifle or has the barrel been shot previously? Do you have experience with the velocity of the factory Hornady ammo in another rifle? If you have shot this ammo in this rifle before the chop job and knew the velocity, disregard my comments.
They have enough straps when you install the load sling also that they get all confused trying to strap stuff on, or maybe that is the operator that gets confused:)
Be damn glad you are not wearing those Navy 13 button woolies, that was tough when I was a teenager.
Just had an idea, have a seamstress sew a fly into your pants kind of like briefs, no buttons just an overlap. Could get a bit risqué or cold at times though.
